When Seth discovers Ryan's absence during a significant gathering, he tracks him down in an unexpected location and turns to Summer for guidance. Julie Cooper, however, seeks to evade the emotional burden of Marissa's loss, refusing to confront her grief directly. Kaitlin, in a typical Cooper move, secures a new pair of boots from Dr. Roberts, showcasing the family's eccentric habits. Meanwhile, Taylor Townsend retreats to the diner, fabricating a story about her travels to Paris to deflect from her emotional state.
